Iran is ready to reinitiate nuclear discussions with the United States as long as it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared only diplomacy was effective, and disclosed fresh requests had originated from mediators to resume talks with the Trump administration. He said Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran had not yet reached a point to authorize the UN nuclear inspectorate to access struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.

Navigating a Difficult Route

The foreign minister is navigating a complex route since Iran does not want be seen to be proceeding from a stance of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more resilient militarily and psychologically from the Israeli-US attack on its atomic facilities in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an inalienable right to enrich uranium domestically that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the previous talks.

Earlier Negotiations Suddenly Ended

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and acrimonious termination on 12 June when Israel, with US support, struck Tehran's atomic facilities in a 12-day war that concluded with the American leader asserting the locations had been obliterated. Subsequently, EU nations exercised their authority to restore international penalties, but Iran insists they have not had a significant effect.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Iranian officials stated they felt they had attained a "perfect agreement" to the nuclear fuel concern in previous talks, when it was agreed an local partnership with US participation could process nuclear material. Each party would have been able to assert triumph since local refinement would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was entirely non-military.

It had not been settled in the talks that US nuclear scientists could function on Iranian soil, but that was a reasonable assumption of the consortium proposal. Representatives stated repeatedly they had reached agreement with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the arrangement to disintegrate due to "detractors in America".

Current Situation

The US president last week stated he had been getting signals that Iran wanted to resume discussions, but confidentially Tehran representatives claim they are not yet obtaining clear proposals from the United States either explicitly or from significant local go-betweens, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and Saudi Arabia. The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been charged of inactivity in the face of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Tehran states diplomacy is not part of a spectacle.

Political Standpoint

In his speech to the conference, aimed to depict the US as a controlling nation that abuses the idea of worldwide standards, the foreign minister said the two-week conflict showed the conflict could not be resolved by combat operations. He said the attacks commenced with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and concluded with an unconditional call for a ceasefire.

Iran is assured the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were executed with total Washington understanding and coordination, making faith difficult to reestablish.

Dialogue Remains the Final Answer

Araghchi stated: "Tehran was not the one that had fled diplomacy; it was America and the European states that had always attempted to dictate their demands during the discussions. Dialogue can still be viable and remains the final solution to address disputes, but its requirements, rules and principles must be followed."

"If they speak to the Iranian people with the tone of dignity and respect, they will receive a response in the same tone."

Recovery and Reconstruction

In what is portrayed by Iranian officials as the conflict of restoration and recovery, Araghchi claimed he was assured Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been rebuilt. We learned multiple understandings from this engagement; we have come to know our personal limitations and the shortcomings of the adversary."

He added: "We managed to survive this conflict. Our nuclear technology, which they aimed to eliminate, stays intact. The sites and machinery, if destroyed, will be restored; what is crucial is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but were unable to shatter. The nation of Iran have developed more resilient, more cohesive, and more supportive of the leadership and the state in the wake of this invasion."
