Fighter's Mindset

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
